POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Specialist provides general support to the Human Resources Department, focusing on brand enhancement, culture and employee engagement. Owns internal communication activities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for coordinating the culture and engagement strategy.
Must be able to align and inspire employees with the company’s vision and business strategy.
Developing and executing innovative employee engagement initiatives tailored to the unique needs of our remote workforce.
The position plays a critical role in leading initiatives for building upon and launching teammate engagement programs, events, and community relations strategies.
Collaborating with HR leadership to design and administer surveys, feedback mechanisms, and performance evaluations to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
Assist the HR Director with daily HR operational duties.
Provide guidance and assistance to Team Members and leadership, as needed.
Responsible for executing the communication needs of all HR areas in a timely manner.
Assists with posting to Social Media pages with regard to the Team Member perspective; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all data and information.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or Marketing preferred and 1 or more years of work experience in Human Resources or other professional environment.

Present information and speak publicly to groups.
Skill in developing successful working relationships with management and peers within department and outside of the department.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
